The following is an excerpt from Cheryl MacKinnon's write up on her stay with us.
| Following check-in at the traditional front desk of the main building, you are guided along a sturdy and well-lit wooden bridge "pathway" with the ocean on one side and a dramatic forest of Arbutus trees on the other. After a few minutes walk, you come upon thirteen canvas tents artfully nestled amongst the stunning beauty of this setting. Catch your breath as you enter your hideaway....the interior amenities will absolutely captivate you! Inside your private suite, it truly is a tough call whether to snuggle amongst the cozy covers of your glamorously dressed king size bed(no foamies and sleeping bags here), before or after a luxuriating soak in the utterly decadent two person Bain Ultra Thermo Massage Tub. Come bedtime, should you be lucky enough to hit a west coast storm, it will be the sound of raindrops falling above you, not on you, which will gently engage a deep, restful sleep. In the morning, slip into the thick, warm, bathrobes, throw back your canvas curtains and revel in the beauty. I believe this is exactly what a camping trip should be....dry, warm and incredibly romantic. |
